Parramatta Artists Studios (PAS) operates a number of studio facilities across the City of Parramatta, including PAS Granville and PAS Rydalmere.

Parramatta Artists Studios – both PAS Granville and PAS Rydalmere – opens during public events and programs. At other times, the studios are private facilities that can only be accessed by studio artists. PAS is open by appointment, which you can arrange by emailing studios@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au

Parramatta Artists Studios manages a total of 20 studio spaces across two sites, PAS Granville and PAS Rydalmere.

Studios are allocated via an online application process. 

Applications for PAS Granville are open once a year; while applications for PAS Rydalmere open once every two years. Artists submit an application form with information about their practice via an online application system called SmartyGrants. This information will be live on our website when applications open.

Studio applications are assessed by a panel of City of Parramatta Council and external peers, including artists, writers, curators, and other arts workers and subject matter experts.
 

No, Parramatta Artists Studios does not offer any studios for casual hire.

Artists are selected via an annual callout process. All artists selected for studios are assessed against a range of selection criteria, which are published during the application callout.
