ABOUT THE COUNCIL: 

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:  

City of Parramatta Council is proposing to construct park improvements at Sue Savage Reserve, Chanel Street, Toongabbie.  This project will provide a diverse range of passive and multi-generational recreational activities and facilities including:

• Design and Construction of new asphalt BMX pump track with drainage infrastructure and planting
• Construction of new carpark with 36x 90 degree angled car spaces, 3x disabled car spaces with 2m wide concrete footpath to connect the carpark to surrounding facilities;
• Provision of minor drainage infrastructure improvements along Chanel Street;
• Construction of new skate park with elements such as quarter pipes, deep bowl, mogul pump, ramps, flatbanks and bespoke tiered seating;
• Installation of fitness equipment offering a full body workout;
• Supply and installation of new Amenities building with accessible toilets and associated works;
• Supply and installation of new tree and groundcover planting; and
• Supply and Installation of new furniture items including picnic shelters, picnic settings, seat units and bike racks.

Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.

A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in late December 2024, with works anticipated to commence in February 2025. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
