ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences
ABOUT THE TENDER:
Council is inviting Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering and/or marine contractors for the construction of a swimming area within Lake Parramatta Reserve, Lackey Street, North Parramatta.
The Scope of Works includes
(a) Demolition works including excavations and re-grading;
(b) Installation of new civil works including underwater sandstone rip rap, underwater retaining walls, infill materials and associated works; and
(c) Installation of new steps, and associated sandstone blocks adjacent to steps, boulders and pavement and a lifeguard platform.
Tender Briefing/Site Inspection
A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting is proposed to be held at 10.00am on Tuesday, 22 August 2023, at Lake Parramatta Reserve, Lackey Street, North Parramatta. Tenderers can register their attendance by emailing the Procurement Officer at tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.

Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender mid-November 2023, with works anticipated to commence in March 2024. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
