ABOUT THE COUNCIL:  

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:  

City of Parramatta Council is seeking to select the best tenderer/s for the proportionate awarding of the tender based on sectors of the LGA, Parramatta Light Rail and Parramatta Aquatic Centre. The tender aims to deliver the best overall value for money to the City of Parramatta Council to provide the following services:

Scheduled and reactive maintenance of designated mown and landscaped areas within the LGA. This includes but is not limited to duties such as mowing, landscape maintenance and horticultural activities. Works will also include chemical applications activities relating to weed management and traffic management activities related to undertaking works adjacent to roadways and in road corridors.  

Designated maintenance of areas includes but are not limited to Councils parks and open spaces, verges on RMS and Local roads, landscaped traffic islands, laneways and broad acre grassed areas

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted, and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tender. Late, verbal or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
