City of Parramatta Council is reviewing the existing parking conditions in Euston Street, Rydalmere and proposing introducing timed parking restrictions to prevent vehicles from being parked overnight and for longer periods. The options Council is considering are as follows:
- Option 1: Installation of ‘6P 6pm-8am Mon-Fri’ restrictions on both sides of Euston Street between Victoria Road and South Street.
- Option 2: Installation of ‘12P’ restrictions on both sides of Euston Street between Victoria Road and South Street.
- Option 3: No changes to existing unrestricted parking.
The purpose of the restriction is to provide greater opportunities for parking for employees and customers of the businesses during the day.
Council is consulting with the community and is inviting written submissions from residents, businesses and relevant authorities. The submissions are to consider the above listed options, however, Council welcomes feedback from the community regarding other options to ensure that the proposal best serves the community.
