For events happening on streets, roads and public squares, please refer to the various guidelines and booking arrangements listed on Council’s website under “Street Activity Policy”.

Council commissions a weekly eNews for the Parramatta community and cultural sector. This channel is also available for organisations to share their own stories and content.

City of Parramatta offers a range of quality seminars and workshops to local businesses to provide important business development tools to make starting and growing a business easier.

This program is provided at a low cost or free of charge to local businesses.

ClubGRANTS are available within the Parramatta LGA up to the value of $10,000 per application. The Parramatta ClubGRANTS program is sponsored by local clubs and administered by City of Parramatta Council. 

The Annual Community Grants Round offers grants for 5 different categories:

• Community Capacity Building Grant
• Creative Projects Fund
• Cultural Heritage and Stories Research Grant
• Growing Social Enterprise in Parramatta
• Parramatta Artists’ Studios Creative Fellowship Fund

The City of Parramatta Council offers a quarterly program in line with a financial year period, designed to provide a more rapid response. Quarterly Grants are separated into three different categories: Small Grants Fund, Social Enterprise Business Planning Grant, and Sport & Recreation Grant.

The Night Time Economy Diversification Grants are designed to support local businesses, community and cultural groups, event organisers and individuals to develop projects that will support the growth and diversity of the night time economy in the City of Parramatta, while supporting the ability to trial new and interesting concepts that will build capacity in our local night time sector into the future.
